Pasta with clams

Ingredients (6 persons)

pasta, 350 grs.
clams, 1 kg.
average onions, 2
red peppers, 2
ripe tomatoes, 2
garlic, a dash
parsley
bay
oil
salt

 

Preparation: Heat oil in a frying pan and add the onions, garlic, peppers, tomatoes, everything well chopped.

Simmer the clams in a casserole with water and bay. As soon as they have opened, put them aside, removing the water and adding it to the fried mixture. Let simmer and add the pasta till they are cooked. Then add the clams and a little bit of saffron; put some salt and serve hot.
